Brief: Gen-Z are hyperconnected in the virtual world but socially disconnected. Yet digital interactions have failed to replace the need to connect on an emotional level in the physical world. This has led to the gen-Z’s feeling overstimulated but under-socialised. The task was to turn digital connections into meaningful IRL experiences. Insight: Young travellers don’t want to travel like tourists. Being a tourist is an ick.
